Grand Rapids posts 6-0 victory The Grand Rapids Griffins are becoming a little more than just a glare in the Aeros' rearview mirror. For the second consecutive time in the season series and third overall, the Griffins shut out the only team in front of them in the AHL Western Conference standings. Sunday afternoon at Compaq Center, Grand Rapids got goals from six players and routed the Aeros 6-0 in front of an announced crowd of 4,244. With the win, Grand Rapids moved to within three points of the Aeros, who lead the West with 83 points.
